We grow food year-round in Northeast Texas. We like gardening in the fall for three reasons: cooler weather, fewer pests, and the ability to grow different plants. The pace of fall gardening overall is much more enjoyable than spring and summer gardening, too. Some of our favorite things to grow in the fall include: lettuce, broccoli, mizuna, greens, and carrots.

  • About Us.

Hello! We are Joy & Holly, and we’ve grown up with generations of growers. We believe everyone deserves access to healthy food. We are passionate about making growing accessible, even for beginners. We love to teach people gardening, in an educational, inspiring, and fun way!

  • About out Garden.

We have both had gardens since we were kids, but we really ramped things up in our own garden in 2020. At that time, we needed a break from well, everything, and did a major expansion on the garden. We added more raised beds, arches for vertical growing space, more containers for growing, and a large in-ground garden. We started growing all the things, and added fruit trees and berries, too. Then last year we built a greenhouse on our back lot.
